Azusa studied art at the Tama Art University in Tokyo Japan. Her love of light,color,and shadow led to a strong interest in Oil Painting. Her favorite subject inculude imaginary landscapes, imaginary people, portraiture, still-life, and landscapes. She takes her inspiration fron Western artist including: Brugel, Bosch. she is also inspired by an artist fromJapan's Edo period Jakuchu. Her work mixes landscapes and people she saw in her mind with everyday reality. Her aim is to find an artistic style that truly expresses her ideas in its purest form.
